Welcome!

... to Mia's site! Glad that you stopped by. This site is being created for a course (LS 5623) that I am taking at Texas Woman's University with Dr. Sylvia Vardell.  It is a work in progress through December 2003.

In this day and age, Young Adult Literature can be a controversial subject, no? Just look at the great Harry Potter debate!  Please remember that I am a student,  not a professional reviewer. Any difference in opinion that you may have with my work on these pages is okay. We are all created as unique individuals with varying viewpoints. The diversity of opinions is what makes the dynamics of life exciting.
